Şekerpare's softness comes from fully absorbing its syrup.
💡 Both should be lukewarm; that gives the softest texture.
- 1Boil 3 cups of sugar with 3 cups of water for 10 minutes.
- 2Add the juice of half a lemon and keep it lukewarm.
- 3Pour the lukewarm syrup over the hot şekerpare.
- 4Rest for at least 30 minutes so the syrup soaks in.
